Activities of the Club

• Opportunity to Join: Students have the opportunity to join SKYAAC at their school and get enrolled in various activities.
• Specialized Lectures and Camps: We offer specialized lectures by experts from reputed institutes of astronomy, astronomical outdoor camps, workshops, day and night sky observation sessions within and outside of school, hands-on activities, and organizing mega events at schools during significant astronomical events such as solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, meteor showers, transits, oppositions, etc.
• Telescope Handling and Sky Observation: Students can learn to handle and mount telescopes, identify celestial objects, read sky maps, identify directions in the night sky using stars, find local time, and take photographs of celestial objects like the Sun and planets, as well as other heavenly bodies.
• Olympiads and Competitions: Students also receive assistance in preparing for astronomical Olympiads, competitions, and projects organized by NASA, ESA, ISRO, RSA, and national-level local agencies and NGOs.
